The above work of art was given to me as a 'Thank you' gift for doing what I felt was a labour of love, but one which was my pleasure to share...
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved (you know who you are Kate, Mel, Karin, Jackie, June, Amanda, Dave, Les & Bernie and not forgetting Bearcloud....) for this truly heart-warming and touching gesture... It's a beautiful picture that carries with it the warmth and feeling from one spirit to another... And of the Artist, Ragen Mendenhall, well the picture speaks for itself and I thank her for originally creating it, and for signing it.
To find out more about Sekhmet, who she was and what she represented and meant to the ancients, click on the pik and have yourself a 'Wikipedia' moment . . . and read all about it!

Meantime, here are some pictures of the moon I took over the year (2007 - and yes, I did really get to see it in spite of this years terrible, wet and soggy summer),
including one lunar eclipse...
