When you look at the world and its peoples, you see a fantastic diversity of race, creed and culture, yet we are all the same.. all made of star stuff.. all conjured up out of intergalactic material... or are we? Have you ever wondered about - in spite of these divisions - there are not many groups that walk upon this good earth, but perhaps simply two? Let's think about this a little more.. how can there be only TWO groups/types of people on this earth? how indeed... the stuff of stars, I hear you ask? Surely that's something best left to a science fiction story... or is it? The two 'distinct groups' of people I mention are probably better referred to here as 'sensitives' (the psychics, the spiritual et al - NOT to be confused with the religious zealots out there who are about as spiritual as an atomic bomb - and the 'NON sensitive', the people who don't believe there is anything else out there, that we are 'it'. No more, no less... and where psychic phenomena are merely fabrications or figments of starved and desperate imaginations. The closed and narrow minded. Humanists who have no sensitivity to the vibrations of the planet, the language of the elements and the connection that many ancient cultures (e.g. Native American) believe exists across the species divide. Diametrically opposed, the sensitive and spiritual are derided by the 'other lot' who simply don't know what an open mind is let alone have one. They deny everything that they can't see or don't understand - that or shoot it - and all that the sensitive spirituals experience. This is most likely because they have not experienced it themselves. Nor will they be able to as they are so totally closed to it. They don't get 'hunches' or 'feelings', don't get 'flashes' or premonitions... and to them the only people that hear voices are the clinically insane... They themselves are, of course, 'quite normal'! What if we are the product of Alien (or even 'divine') intervention...? That Zillions of years ago there were indeed extra terrestrial visitors who seeded this earth with their genome, ensuring that some part of their lineage would indeed survive? Yet through the countless ages, as we bred and interbred, crossbred and counter-bred, and then inbred et al, the gene pool would mix and mingle with those that had been 'altered' so creating a race that had the deeply buried instincts of these alien forebears... Yet as we mixed and mingled, the gene distribution would change as with the changing millennial tide, leaving some with an overload of alien entity where as others would be left with a rather more diluted amount, little or none as the gene exchange would continuously shift the distribution and redistribution of these characteristics from generation to generation in a kind of 'genetic drift', if you like. Inevitably, some people would be left without these qualities, resulting in the unequal distribution of the attributes left to us by E.T, hence the division of the people of the Earth... those with, and those without - the 'haves' and the 'have nots' of psychic sensitivity. Yet at some point during the ensuing and drifting tides of time, would there not be parity between the two? who can say? This is not a new idea as various science fiction stories over the years have illustrated - though perhaps not on such a grand a scale. Like the the stories depict, with TV series Babylon 5 for one, with its Voorlon genetic intervention to create a race of telepaths amongst a non telepathic race, resulting in the eventual breeding and cross breeding of altered individuals, giving rise to descendants of varying abilities. |
On a more sinister note I refer to Nigel Neals' 'Quatermass And The Pit' (aka '5 million years...') where by an ancient alien space craft is discovered buried deep in the earth during the excavations for a new London Underground station. This happens to be in an area where psychic phenomena are historically rife, visions and sightings occur to chill the blood, and possession takes effect... This story deals with the theme that millennia ago, our nearest neighbour, Mars, was inhabited but the planet was dying. In order for the Martian race to survive in some shape or form, they abducted early pre-humans and 'modified' them genetically so they carried the Martian DNA and, as a result, would perpetuate at least part of the species so ensuring its survival - albeit by proxy. This newly discovered craft appeared to have crashed so killing all of its occupants, human and otherwise. This is what gave the heroes of the story the clues to what was going on in the area and what had indeed been going on for thousands of centuries. In fact these ancient events had helped to shape the whole of mankind as it was concluded that this was just one of thousands of similar interplanetary lifeboats returning to Earth from Mars with an altered cargo... They further discovered that this remarkable instinct for survival had a terrible price: the Martian urge to survive involved 'ethnic cleansing'. They had a telekinetic ability and used this 'en masse' to cull anyone or anything that was different to the norm, so ensuring the purity of the race by way of racial purge... Once the ancient space craft was awakened, these latent abilities also came to life and started to possess the local population. The Martian gene had been activated and large groups of people (all carrying the gene) gathered and used the same power to purge their race of anyone that stood outside their norm. People without the gene and animals were being slaughtered by the resurging Martian Culture in a tidal wave of telekinetic destruction... |

So what happens next? ...well that WOULD be telling now, wouldn't it? you'll just have to see the film or read the book to find out..! However fanciful and fictitious though, this story does illustrate the point being made here. 'Space seed'... One part of the human race has a certain gene/mind set, and the other does not... 'Psychics and Mystics' and their ilke, 'sensitive' people throughout, although having differing abilities and strengths, all have a common denominator: they have experienced psychic phenomena of one sort or another to whatever degree. Their minds are open and they can communicate in ways that are not even dreamt of by the 'other lot', who will deny and deride this, or try to destroy it in the name of 'religion'. This of course is nothing new though here I refer to the various witch hunts for those who showed these gifts and abilities and even for those who didn't, but might have because they were deemed 'different'. Having said this, there is a growing cognizance of things other than war, greed, profit, and 'the norm'. With the amount of awareness and realigning of thought currently going on in the world, it's as if there is some kind of cosmic alarm clock going off, slowly stirring the world... So, if you feel you are being stalked by a number - chiefly 11:11* or other double numbers, then consider yourself being woken up by a deeply implanted coded message left in the subconscious, programmed into the DNA by our illustrious Extra Terrestrial ancestors. There is a growing number of people who don't actively seek it out but seem experiencing this phenomenon more and more frequently as slowly, one by one something is waking us up... Maybe our ancient human ancestors really did get it right. Being that much more 'in tune' with things and having less cluttered and simpler lives (no 'Nintedo' will do that to you...), they were in fact closer to the stars. Just take a look at the building of Stonehenge, Avebury and the positioning of those gigantic 'stellar calculators' made from certain kinds of stone, and other ancient sites, in accordance with the cosmos... do these mark the locations of ancient gateways and conduits to the stars? There are signs all over the Earth that a growing number would point towards just that. The imminent dawning of a age gives rise to connections with these and the resurgence of paganism, wicca, druidism and other ancient philosophies being practiced more and more openly. This is no coincidence. Perhaps we are now moving towards the goals our 'makers' intended? Perhaps they are seeing to it that we don't make the same mistakes as they did? or they have programmed in a biological failsafe device to make sure that we don't. To make sure we survive and perpetuate the species... but whose? Are they keeping a watchful eye over us after all, sending us the occasional message (crop circles?) in the hope that at least some of us will understand? As a person said to me once: 'there are more of us than they know.... ' maybe there is more weight behind this statement than is first apparent. ...and about 'us'? who are we and where indeed do we come from? There is, and can only be one answer... We come from The Stars...
