The spread uses a forename to reveal the Past; a middle name for the present;
and a last or surname to reveal and represent the Future. Where there
are no such clear divides and one or two names becomes the key, then the
distinction between the states of past, present and future will discernible
in the flow of cards of each name.s They
will not be so apparent but will be recognisable. For the purposes of our
illustration, I have chosen a simple name, one that has four or five letters
in each part. In this way, each card drawn represents a letter of that name,
and so a part of that persons life comes to light. The finished name gives
an account of the past, the present and the future for the reading. |
