The Horseshoe spread is so called due to the way the cards are laid... ie in a 'V' shape or that resembling a horseshoe.
It consists of seven cards, drawn and laid in sequence one after the other.

The first three cards comprise the left hand side of the spread and they represent the 'timeline'... the past, present and future and has one card drawn for each state.
The fourth card drawn lies in between the two 'horns' of the spread. it represents the advice and guidance to be given...

'The best policy for the querent to follow' is shown here. The next two cards forming the right side (or horn!) of the spread indicate what is going on around you.
The fifth card represents the attitudes of those around you whereas the sixth shows your hopes and/or fears.....

The seventh and final card in this spread shows the eventual outcome of the situation.
